Paula backed out on decorating our wedding hall the Wednesday before our wedding (after she cashed our check, of course) and refused us a refund. She openly admits that it was her mistake that she miscalculated the amount that we owed but still refused to accommodate. The centerpieces were full of mold, the linens were wrinkly and smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. There are many pictures to prove, upon request. The cylinders we rented were cloudy and had to be washed before we could set them on the tables. Paula shorted us 120 chair sashes, 5 table cloths and the clips for the table skirts. The mirrors she gave us were scratched, some were broken, and most of them were covered in candle wax from a previous event. Paula did not answer any of the mother of the brides phone calls, voicemails, or emails. She did give us "free votives" for this particular inconvenience. Paula gave us an $80 refund for the chair sashes out of the $1800 we paid her to decorate.
I am not trying to ruin Paula's business, but I feel that it is my duty to let other brides know what my experience was. If someone would have written an honest review as I did, this would not have happened to me. My goal is simply to help other engaged couples have a perfect a wedding day. If you're going to use her services, please careful and make sure to write everything down.
What an amazing job Paula and her team did decorating the Jefferson Street Inn ballroom for our daughters wedding! From the very first time we met with Paula until the day we walked into the ballroom, it was such a easy and perfect experience! Just like we imagined our daughter's wedding day to be! Thank you Paula for helping make our day perfect!
An absolute nightmare. Please do not make the same mistake that we did. We had an amazing wedding day despite Paula's services. We showed Paula a summary of this review before we posted it and she did not disagree with any of the information that I am about to present to you.

We set up multiple meetings with Paula to review centerpieces and all items rented on the contract. The first meeting, she did not show up to. The second meeting, she forgot that she had even set up a meeting, therefore she didn't have any of the centerpieces ready. Although I had sent her plenty of emails and called her plenty of times, she could never remember my name. Paula often used the excuse "There are a million of you brides, and only one of me." This is not how a bride should be treated one of the most meaningful days of her life.
