The first time I used them the men that came were very nice and friendly, but they weren't very careful about loading and unloading the furniture, I did get a few scruff marks on my new furniture. I don't know why I used them again, but I did and again they didn't use anything to pad the corner's in the house to prevent damage and when they put my kitchen table in, they stacked it and know it's pretty marked up. I won't use them again.
They should be rated as 0, they are so bad. Delivered my goods as damaged, one piece of furniture covered in mold.Furniture broken, and some had obviously been stored on its side, as the contents were completely emptied out of it and had been thrown into a wardrobe box without ANY packing at all - piano stool, globe and antique sculpture from Japan all in one box! While delivering, one worker showed me a "soft" spot on my front porch by bouncing on it until it broke. It took a half dozen calls for one of the owners to even show up and inspect all of the damage, he took notes and promised he would get back to me. Didn't. Another half a dozen calls, none were ever returned and no damages were ever addressed by owners. Later, I accompanied a friend who was storing items in B&B's warehouse - they store items by stacking them in cube shapes...no protection between any furniture with pieces on their sides and backs, no use of crates. There was actually mold on the walls - my friend took a picture of it. If you have any items to move which you value at all DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

B&B was scheduled to move my mother (80 years old) on a Monday.
They never showed up so we called and they said they would be there Tuesday between 1:00 & 2:00. At 2:05 we called them and they said they'd be there in about an hour. At 3:30 we called them again and they said maybe another 45 minutes. At 5:05 we called them and they stopped answeing their phone.
They left us high and dry and did not even call to say they weren't coming and they never called afterwards to explain why (even though we left them numberous messages asking for an explanation).
THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. We ened up calling friends and neighbors and had to do it all ourselves. We had to be out of the house that night, so we went all night to get it done. My mom was in tears. How could they do this and sleep at night????
I WOULD HATE FOR ANYONE TO GO THROUGH WHAT WE DID.
We used B and B for a move from Wisconsin to Colorado. They packed fragile glasswear and dishes as well as other family heirlooms and pictures. Everything arrived perfectly...not one thing broken scratched, or dented. The movers were polite, efficient, and very professional. It was snowing on move in day and they were careful to not track any snow into our new home. In addition, they dropped off some pieces of funrnitue to our kids' homes at no charge. Compared to other national moving companies, their price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.
Steve, owner of B & B Movers, asked for full payment of services before delivery of my household goods from Wausau, WI to NC. He gave me his word that his truck would deliver my things on time. One day into the trip, he called to tell me his truck had broken down in Indiana and was going to have to wait for parts before continuing on to NC. Days and weeks went by where I had to continue calling him for updates on the repair. He had a complete lack of interest in my situation and gave me no hope of when I could expect my things. I had paid for a storage unit in NC which was now sitting empty and no refunds were given on that unit. After I had made numerous calls to B & B, he finally said that he was going to have my things transferred to a different truck in Indiana and continue driving to NC. My things were finally delivered a month later. Steve did not call me to ask if things were delivered safely. I had to call him to let him know that I had water and mold damage to boxes due to his first truck leaking when it was sitting in Indiana in the rain. Other things were damaged in the process of transferring from one truck to another, and while unloading the truck in NC. Steve has shown NO concern for this situation or for the inconvenience to me in not having my things delivered on time. It has held up the process of purchasing my home because filing records I needed were not delivered when promised.......Steve only continued to say that it wasn't easy for him!! I continued to call him when the small reimbursement check he promised to send in the mail NEVER came. He never had me fill out an insurance claim for my damaged things. I finally traveled back up to Wisconsin to talk to him face to face. He tried to put me off again, and gave me a bad check….but I did not let him leave my sight until he gave me the cash reimbursement he had promised me. Do not do business with this crook. Totally unprofessional. Totally dishonest. Totally disgusting experience.
