I disagree with other reviewers. Perhaps they didn't hit it off with a particular teacher, but the quality of the teachers at the conservatory is OUTSTANDING! It is a wonderful resource for our community, and if your child truly has musical ability this is the BEST option for them to learn and grow. It is a little expensive, but if that is a concern the conservatory has a number of scholarship opportunities available. Give the conservatory a chance, you'll be glad you did!!
My children have become wonderful pianists through the amazing instruction they have received at the Wausau Conservatory of Music. The individualized lessons from their teachers was invaluable in building their confidence and refining their skills. Give WCM a try-you won't regret it!
The Wausau Conservatory of Music, established in 1981, is a regional music school with over 900 students partipating in classes, ensembles and programs each year. The school offers both semester, summer or sample lessons, or short periods of lessons (review below is incorrect) . The prices are realistic as the faculty have extensive musical degrees and solid teaching experience. Plus the school gives out over $45,000 in tuition assistance a year. Our family has taken lessons from a variety of instructors and have benefited greatly from the quality instruction. A great place to be if you and your family loves music.
The quality of the teachers and instruction is superb. A valuable gift to give any child interested in music- worth every penny!
