Worst expierence ever! Do not trust your animal with the care of this facility. They gave my dog the wrong set of shots that were meant for another patient. they had me sign papers for another patients "black and white dog named sadly". 'Mine is a red Merle. Do NOT go here!!!!!!
We brought our puppy there ever since she was born, mainly because of their offering of emergency services. Yesterday, our puppy was having a medical emergency and we called and said she needed to be seen right away. The receptionist told us, "oh that's not going to be possible. I can't fit one more animal in today. In fact, I can't fit her in for a few weeks actually." I was appalled. What's the point of offering emergency services if you're going to turn away a dog that's having an emergency?? Very unprofessional. Another vet (who doesn't even offer emergency services) allowed us to come in right away and got our puppy the medications she needed. We will never be going back to Wisconsin Valley Veterinary Service.
Our cat had an accident in her cat condo and we called to see if they could help us since this was our regular vet and we were asked if we would go somewhere else. We ended up at a different vet and we had to put our cat down. When a call was made the next day to ask why they couldn't see us the day before,especially since it was during normal business hours that we wanted to come in, we were told they would call us back and they never did. We also called in the morning a few days later for them to have our documentation for our other animals ready for pickup by the afternoon and they failed us there too. This place demonstrates a total lack of customer service that I would expect for being a patron for 16+ years.
This is the only place that has a vet on call 24 hours a day for it's customers. They charge their normal fees for this service. This is so much less expensive than the emergency vet. I would like them to be more accurate in their over the phone price quotes. I was surprised by additional charges when I came in for shots like room charge .
Knowledgeable doctors. Busy. Hard to get worked in. Reasonable prices.
