After being diagnosed with cysts on my vocal cords, there were some painful procedures to determine how many cysts, how large the cysts and ect. He did not wait long enough for the numbing medicines to work and then when I complained of pain and started crying, he asked in an angry voice if I wanted him to finish and if I did, I had to stop crying. This was a terrible experience!
It has been almost 4 years since I've seen Dr. Sewall, but wanted to give him the credit he deserves! I traveled hours to see him as I had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. He was very kind, explained things in a way I could understand and made sure any and all of my questions were answered. My incision is near invisible, not many people even notice it without my pointing it out (and I am not a heavy person where the incision might hide in a skin fold). I have been told by many that I had a great surgeon and am very lucky. I am still cancer free and am very thankful to have been under Dr. Sewall's care!
