This is a hidden gem of Wausau!! I feel like this place has the most authentic Mexican food in all of Wausau. My husband and I had heard great things and we finally tried it and are glad we did!! You can tell that the building was not built to be a restaurant so the atmosphere is a little different, but there is some Mexican decor. From the recommendation of another customer, we tried the Al Pastor (marinated pork) tacos Mexican style (cilantro and onions, also comes with a baked jalapeno and small onion on the side) and American style (lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cheese). They were so good!! The food came out really fast too. We thought it was a little pricey for what you got and they seemed to nickel and dime us a bit but the food was worth it. We will be back!
Delicious food! They also offer beef tongue and fried tripe as meats, if you're feeling adventurous.
I've been craving these tacos since leaving Texas seven years ago. I'm so glad to have found them. The meats were delicious. The little roasted onions and jalapenos were delightful. The self-serve drink refrigerators are plentifully stocked.

Came up here from Milwaukee with my wife and found this to be better than most places in Milwaukee. As a Mexican I recommend this place! Really Good!
