This place is a joke! The receptionist marked me as a no-show although I was there. Nobody was at the desk to help me. So the 1st thing that happens is I'm marked as a no-show. When I asked her why I was a no-show when I was there, she said I didn't check in. I said there was nobody at the desk to check me in! She told me it was my fault (not her fault for not being there to do her job!) I got a tooth filled. The dentist & nurse were very very very RUDE. The nurse huffed & puffed the ENTIRE time. She did the eye roll thing, & the leaning on one hip thing, & the heavy annoyed breathing thing, the huffing & puffing thing. Near the very end of the appointment I told the dentist that I could still feel a high spot on my tooth. He asked for the time, said it was fine, said I was done, & without further notice, both of them left the office, leaving me there in the chair, with an unfinished job. I called the office the day after, after the anesthesia wore off. I needed my tooth filling ground down more because it was causing so much pain I couldn't eat. The same dumb receptionist said I couldn't get in for another 2 months. I tried explaining that the job was left undone & that it was causing severe pain! She said I couldn't get in because it was "policy". Had to go to another dentist (who could get me in same day I called) to get my filling ground down. NO THANKS TO BRIDGE STREET DENTAL! This place is UNPROFESSIONAL & VINDICTIVE! The supervisor wouldn't even return my call. Great way to evade responsibility! I would NOT recommend this "clinic" to anyone!
I called this location today (04/15/16) because I had half a tooth break off above the gum line. Pulp was exposed and at massive risk for infection. I called Bridge Community Health Clinic out of desperation, as I didn't know what other dentists would take Medicaid. This one did. Upon calling, I was asked to rate my pain on a scale of 1 to 10. I said 0, because it didn't hurt (yet). The woman on the phone said that they weren't accepting new patients until June, but I could walk in and they'd do something about the broken tooth. So I spend $12 on a cab ride so I could get there before they closed at 3pm. Even then, she said I had no guarantee of receiving care that day. Only after I arrive does the same woman I spoke to on the phone inform me that walk-ins are only for people in excruciating pain. Since she couldn't be bothered to provide me with that critical piece of information when I called, I wasted $12 for the cab, one and a half hours of my time, and the bus fare required to get home. I asked her what she suggested I do in the mean time since the tooth is at a high risk for infection, which due to the proximity to the brain, is a dangerous situation. She shrugged and said, "swish with salt water, maybe"? and suggested that I return once I'm in extreme pain. By the way, extreme pain means a serious infection has set in- a medical emergency. She said that aside from that, I could fill out the paperwork she gave me and come back in June when they're accepting new patients.
Horible. Butchers. Left my 9 year old crying in pain and didnt do the procedure we went in for. Then said we should try again using nitrous gas but had to wait 3 weeks cause they had to make sure they would get paid by insurance first Its the weekend now and my son is swollen in pain and infected. HACKS AND BUTCHERS!!!!!!!
My son has had great experience with the dental providers. My mother as well. The types of assistance they provide are thorough.
This place is HORRIBLE!! They are not able to provide emergence care. The receptionist asked me on a scale of 1-10 how I would rate my pain. I said 8. She said you don't look like you're in pain. I told her my tooth is broken off at gums!! I am in pain my nerve is exposed. She said I must have swelling or bleeding for it to be an emergency to be seen!!! REALLY??? That is INSANE!! Unbelievable!!! Don't go here ever!!!! The male Dr. was EXTREMELY RUDE....
