Beautiful theater which hosts great shows ranging from community theater to Broadway tours. The seats themselves are the worst I've ever sat in in any theater. Extremely uncomfortable. Other than that, no complaints. This is a great asset to the city of Wausau.
It is a classy venue, if only they would have kept the old marquee. The new (digital) one takes away some of the "old charm" of the facility.
A midwestern tour would be MUCH worse if we didn’t come to the Grand in Wausau. As a performer: the room, the crew, the amenities are hard to beat. As an audience member: the hospitality, the Arts Bar, the staff are top-notch.
Pretty alright place with a variety of entertaining acts and plays. Expensive but worth it if you have the money, if you are looking into a family outing, this would be a great place to take your children. Easily visible from the street and wheelchair accessible, its a great place to go to for anyone.
Wonderful atmosphere and timely seating. Great program. Not a bad seat in the house!! Volunteers that were running much of the event were super pleasant and helpful individuals.
