Ben was a great help. He understood what I was looking for because he had previously been in the same situation I was. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have already decided that if I ever need to buy anything electronic or in that general area I will be going back to Best Buy!
This is actually zero stars, but i coudn't select zero stars. Normally the service at best buy is excellent. Tonight i came to drop off my computer for service. I showed up about an hour early and absolutely no one was around. I asked the gentleman at the counter of i could drop my computer off now since no one was waiting. He said no i would need to come back later because he didn't want to be responsible for any damage that my computer might receive. So he set me up with an appointment for the next day, and i hauled my computer back to my car. I was sitting in my car for about two minutes and out comes the same gentleman from behind the counter. Apparently his next appointment was with a delicious cigarette and no other customer at all! Great job geek squad!
Not that impressed with sales associates, they are friendly but some are not that knowledgeable when it comes to computers. Their geek squad is good tho. So if i need advice i find something myself then goto the geek squad desk and ask them for advice.
My rate would be 2.5 but can't. My experience here was decent but I've been price matching some items to Amazon price and doing it at the front register which I could do because customer service was full. The first time I went to price match, a young guy did everything and looked up the number on the computer and was done in minutes. Went a month after to do another price match but it was a different person. A chubby guy who told me to show him the price where I'm matching and he was rude saying his computer can't do that giving attitude. After showing it to him he started getting more sassy and put it into the computer, but didn't he say he couldn't do it? I was able to get what I price match but watch out for the chubby guy as he was rude thinking he was superior to the customers and before was just talking with another worker. I will price match at customer service from now on.
I normally do not trust Best Buy. I have caught them trying to rip myself and others of many times. But this visit was good. No hard selling of add-ons, warranties or other stuff. Got a decent deal on an open box laptop and left.
